WEIRD RACE

In a village there is a very stingy man. But he wanted people thought him as a very generous one.
One day he held a competition, a horse race. He promised a cash of 10 million rupiah as the prize. But the rule is odd. The winner is the latest participant who crossed the finish line, rather than the earliest. He made the odd rule in order no one became the winner, so he did not give out any single cent of his money.
Time was running, from morning to evening, but the race did not end yet. Every time a participant moved some steps forward, sooner after that he stepped back to the start line. It was again and again. No participant was willing to be in front of the others.
Finally a young clever boy proposed a way to end the race. The participants swapped their horses. Participant A rode horse B and participant B rode horse A. The winner is the fastest horse to step the finish line.
No sooner after that a participant became the winner. He asked the prize but the rich man did not give it. People got angry, they altogether tickled the rich man until he could not stop laughing and finally wept. But the people keep tickling on the man. No one helped him.
Suddenly, the people ran away holding their noses. The rich man was helped by the strong smell of his pee.

BALAPAN ANEH

Di sebuah desa ada orang yang sangat kikir. Tapi maunya orang memujinya sebagai seorang yang suka memberi.
Suatu hari ia mengadakan pertandingan yaitu, pacuan kuda. Dia menjanjikan 10 juta rupiah uang tunai sebagai hadiah. Tapi peraturannya aneh. Yang menang adalah peserta yang menginjak garis finish paling akhir, bukan yang paling duluan. Dia membuat peraturan yang aneh agar tidak ada yang jadi pemenang, maka uangnya tidak akan jadi keluar satu sen pun.
Waktu berlalu, dari pagi hingga malam, perlombaan tetap belum selesai. Tiap kali seorang peserta maju beberapa langkah, sebentar kemudian mundur lagi sampai garis start. Demikian terjadi berulang ulang. Tak ada peserta yang mau berada di depan peserta lainnya.
Akhirnya, seorang anak laki-laki yang pandai, mengusulkan cara untuk menyelesaikan pertandingan. Penunggang bertukar kuda. Penunggang A naik kuda B dan penunggang B naik kuda A. Kuda yang paling cepat menyentuh finish adalah kuda pemenang.
Tak lama kemudian muncullah pemenang. Ia meminta hadiahnya tapi si orang kaya tidak memberikannya. Orang-orang jadi marah. Mereka beramai ramai menggelitiki si orang kaya sampai dia tak dapat berhenti tertawa dan akhirnya menangis. Namun orang-orang masih menggelitikinya. Tak ada yang menolongnya.
Tiba-tiba orang-orang bubar berlarian sambil memegangi hidung masing-masing. Orang kaya tadi tertolong oleh pipisnya yang amat kelewatan baunya.
